Biography:
Diane Chadwick
Diane Chadwick,
M.S.W., works as a Foundation Officer for Hawaii Community Foundation
in Waimea, on Hawaii Island. Her role is to be aware of the issues
and concerns on Hawaii Island, be knowledgeable about the island’s
non-profit sector and help connect people and resources through charitable
giving. She received her masters in social work from the University
of Hawaii at Manoa in May 2000, with an emphasis in substance addiction,
crystal methamphetamine and promoting community change. Diane is
and active member of Waimea’s Power of Choice-community response
to ice group, and is the current Chair for the North Hawaii Drug
Free Coalition. She is also a leader of the Celebrate Recovery ministry
for Mana Christian Ohana and recently participated in the Kona-Kohala
Chamber of Commerce’s Ulumau Leadership training program.
