Biography:
Angela Thomas
Angela Thomas has
been involved in the field of Early Childhood Education for 18 years-as
a teacher, director, preschool owner, trainer, and advocate. As a
resident of the Island of Hawaii, Angela has been active with the
Mayor’s Committee on Children & Youth, the Big Island
Good Beginnings Alliance Community Council (BIGBACC), Waimea’s
Power of Choice, and has served a the Big Island representative to
the GBA Board of Directors. She is currently the Hawaii Island Coordinator
for Good Beginnings Alliance and a columnist for the North Hawaii News
where she writes a weekly column called “Baby Steps” which
is devoted to improving parenting skills through better understanding
and knowledge of child development. She is a graduate of Santa Clara
University, St. Paul.
