anti-drug efforts of community-based programs in Kohala, Waimea,
Waikoloa, and Honoka'a;
- for focusing on
our children and our families as the first step;
- for always looking
for ways to increase cooperation and collaboration in the
community;
- for being willing
to secure grants and resources from multiple sources;
- and, for always
looking for solutions when others were still talking about
problems.
