The Healing Our Island website is a Hawaii County resource to promote a drug free, healthy community. It's mission is to have everyone working together to heal our island from the harmful effects of crystal methamphetamine or 'ice.' Hawaii has been impacted by the harmful effects of substance abuse upon families, businesses, and communities. In order to improve Hawaii's quality of life, this site promotes community based programs and grassroots efforts toward education, prevention, treatment and recovery for youth and at-risk adults.
